Franciscus Bernardus MariaFrans” de Waal, PhD was born 29th October 1948. He is a Dutch primatologist and ethologist. He is the Charles Howard Candler professor of Primate Behavior at 399 Psychology Building in the Emory University psychology department in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. de Waal received his Ph.D. in Biology and Zoology from Utrecht University, the Netherlands, in 1977. He completed his postdoctoral study of chimpanzees while associated with Utrecht University, in 1981, and moved the same year to the USA. He has been a National Academy of Sciences member since 2004, and a Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences member since 1993. Time Magazine featured him in 2007 as one of the World’s One Hundred Most Influential People. Frans de Waal is the Ig Nobel Prize winner, in the Anatomy category. He is also the Director of Living Links at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center and was responsible for writing the book, The Bonobo and the Atheist: In Search of Humanism among the Primates. He is author of numerous books including Chimpanzee Politics and Our Inner Ape. In 2012 was featured in a Youtube video showing Capuchin monkey fairness experiment (Two Monkeys Were Paid Unequally: Excerpt from Frans de Waal’s TED Talk) where two monkey where given two different types of food cucumbers and grapes and observed their reaction at seeing it. The video was a very funny viral video on the internet. His research centers on primate social behavior, including conflict resolution, cooperation, inequity aversion, and food-sharing. He is a Member of the United States National Academy of Sciences and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. Frans de Waal was born in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant, Netherlands. Frans de Waal studied at the Dutch universities of Radboud University Nijmegen, University of Groningen, and Utrecht. In 1977, De Waal received his doctorate in biology from Utrecht University after training as a zoologist and ethologist with Professor Jan van Hooff, a well-known expert of emotional facial expressions in primates. His dissertation research concerned aggressive behavior and alliance formation in macaques. In 1975, Frans de Waall began a six-year project on the world’s largest captive colony of chimpanzees at the Arnhem Zoo. The study resulted in many scientific papers, and resulted in publication of his first book, Chimpanzee Politics, in 1982. This book offered the first description of primate behavior explicitly in terms of planned social strategies. De Waal was first to introduce the thinking of Machiavelli to primatology, leading to the label “Machiavellian Intelligence” that later became associated with it. In his writings, De Waal has never shied away from attributing emotions and intentions to his primates, and as such his work inspired the field of primate cognition that, three decades later, flourishes around themes of cooperation, altruism, and fairness. His early work also drew attention to deception and conflict resolution, nowadays two major areas of research. Initially, all of this was highly controversial. Thus, the label of “reconciliation”, which De Waal introduced for reunions after fights, was questioned at first, but is now fully accepted with respect to animal behavior. Recently, De Waal‘s work has emphasized non-human animal empathy and even the origins of morality. His most widely cited paper, written with his former student Stephanie Preston, concerns the evolutionary origin and neuroscience of empathy, not just in primates, but in mammals in general. Frans de Waal‘s name is also associated with Bonobo, the “make love – not war” primate that he has made popular. But even his Bonobo studies are secondary to the larger goal of understanding what binds primate societies together rather than how competition structures them. Competition is not ignored in his work: the original focus of De Waal‘s research, before he was well known, was aggressive behavior and social dominance. Whereas his science focuses on the behavior of nonhuman primates (mostly chimpanzees, bonobos, macaques, and capuchin monkeys), his popular books have given De Waal worldwide visibility by relating the insights he has gained from monkey and ape behavior to human society. With his students, he has also worked on elephants, which are increasingly featured in his writings.
His research into the innate capacity for empathy among primates has led De Waal to the conclusion that non-human great apes and humans are simply different types of apes, and that empathic and cooperative tendencies are continuous between these species. His belief is illustrated in the following quote from The Age of Empathy:
“We start out postulating sharp boundaries, such as between humans and apes, or between apes and monkeys, but are in fact dealing with sand castles that lose much of their structure when the sea of knowledge washes over them. They turn into hills, leveled ever more, until we are back to where evolutionary theory always leads us: a gently sloping beach.”
This is quite opposite to the view of some economists and anthropologists, who love to postulate differences between humans and other animals. However, recent work on prosocial tendencies in apes and monkeys supports De Waal‘s position. See, for example, the research of Felix Warneken, a psychologist at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany. In 2011, De Waal and his co-workers were the first to report that chimpanzees given a free choice between helping only themselves or helping themselves plus a partner, prefer the latter. In fact, De Waal does not believe these tendencies to be restricted to humans and apes, but views empathy and sympathy as universal mammalian characteristics, a view that over the past decade has gained support from studies on rodents and other mammals, such as dogs. He and his students have also extensively worked on fairness, leading to a video that went viral on inequity aversion among capuchin monkeys. The most recent work in this area was the first demonstration that given a chance to play the Ultimatum game, chimpanzees respond in the same way as children and human adults by preferring the equitable outcome. In 1981, Frans de Waal moved to the United States for a position at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center, and in 1991 took a position at Emory University, in Atlanta, GA. He is currently C.H. Candler professor in the Psychology Department at Emory and director of the Living Links Center at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. He became an American citizen in 2008. His 2013 book The Bonobo and the Atheist examines human behavior through the eyes of a primatologist, and explores how much God and religion are needed for human morality. The main conclusion is that morality comes from within, and is part of human nature. The role of religion is secondary. De Waal also writes a column for Psychologie, a popular Dutch monthly magazine. Since September 1st, 2013, Frans de Waall is a Distinguished Professor (Universiteitshoogleraar) at the University of Utrecht. This is a part-time appointment — he remains in his position at Emory University, in Atlanta.

Quotes

“The possibility that empathy resides in parts of the brain so ancient that we share them with rats should give pause to anyone comparing politicians with those poor, underestimated creatures.”
“I’ve argued that many of what philosophers call moral sentiments can be seen in other species. In chimpanzees and other animals, you see examples of sympathy, empathy, reciprocity, a willingness to follow social rules. Dogs are a good example of a species that have and obey social rules; that’s why we like them so much, even though they’re large carnivores.”
“To endow animals with human emotions has long been a scientific taboo. But if we do not, we risk missing something fundamental, about both animals and us.”
“Atheism will need to be combined with something else, something more constructive than its opposition to religion, to be relevant to our lives. The only possibility is to embrace morality as natural to our species.” “The Bonobo and the Atheist,” 2013.
“Being both more systematically brutal than chimps and more empathic than bonobos, we are by far the most bipolar ape. Our societies are never completely peaceful, never completely competitive, never ruled by sheer selfishness, and never perfectly moral.”
“The enemy of science is not religion… . The true enemy is the substitution of thought, reflection, and curiosity with dogma.”The Bonobo and the Atheist”, 2013.

Bill Maher was born William Maher, Jr. on January 20th 1956 in New York City. He is an American stand-up comedian, television host, political commentator, satirist, author, and actor who is 5′ 8″ tall. Before his current role as the host of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, he hosted a similar late-night talk show called Politically Incorrect, originally on Comedy Central and later on ABC. Bill Maher is known for his sarcastic attitude, political satire and sociopolitical commentary, which targets a wide swath of topics including religion, politics, bureaucracies of many kinds, political correctness, the mass media, greed among people and persons in positions of high political and social power, and the lack of intellectual curiosity in the electorate. Bill Maher supports the legalization of marijuana and same-sex marriage. His critical views of religion were the basis for the 2008 documentary film Religulous. He serves on the board of PETA and is an advisory board member of Project Reason. In 2005, Bill Maher ranked at number 38 on Comedy Central’s 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time. Bill Maher received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on September 14, 2010. His father, William Maher, Sr., was a network news editor and radio announcer, and his mother, Julie Maher (née Berman), was a nurse. He was raised in his Irish American father’s Catholic religion, unaware that his Hungarian American mother was Jewish until his early teens. Owing to his disagreement with the Catholic Church’s doctrine about birth control, Maher’s father stopped taking him and his sister to Catholic church services when Bill Maher was thirteen. Bill Maher won an array of awards, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Technical Direction, two CableACE awards for Best Talk Show Series, and a Genesis Award for Best Television Talk Show all for producing, writing and hosting of Politically Incorrect. Politically Incorrect was canceled on June 16, 2002, and the Sinclair Broadcast Group had dropped the show from its ABC-affiliated stations months prior. On June 22, 2002, just six days after the cancellation of Politically Incorrect, Bill Maher received the Los Angeles Press Club president’s award (for “championing free speech”). Bill Maher was on the board of judges for the 2002 PEN/Newman’s Own First Amendment Award. In 2003, Bill Maher became the host, co-producer and co-writer of Real Time with Bill Maher, a weekly hour-long political comedy talk show on the cable television network HBO. It is currently in its 12th season. During an interview, Maher told Terry Gross (on NPR’s Fresh Air) that he much prefers having serious and well-informed guests on his program, as opposed to the random celebrities that fleshed out his roundtable discussions on Politically Incorrect. As with his previous show, Politically Incorrect, Bill Maher begins Real Time with a comic opening monologue based upon current events and other topical issues. He proceeds to a one-on-one interview with a guest, either in-studio or via satellite. Following the interview, Maher sits with three panelists, usually consisting of pundits, authors, activists and journalists, for a discussion of the week’s events. In the segment “New Rules” at the end of each show, Maher delivers a humorous editorial on popular culture and American politics. Real Time has earned widespread praise. It has been nominated for more than ten Primetime Emmy Awards and six Writer’s Guild awards. In 2007, Maher and his co-producers were awarded the Television Producer of the Year Award in Variety Television by the Producers Guild of America. Maher holds the record for the most Emmy nominations without a win, having been nominated on 22 occasions and not winning once. Eleven of the nominations were for Politically Incorrect, while nine were for Real Time. The other two were nominations for two of his HBO comedy specials: Bill Maher: I’m Swiss and Bill Maher: The Decider. For the last eighteen years, Bill Maher has set the boundaries of where funny, political talk can go on American television. First on “Politically Incorrect” (Comedy Central, ABC, 1993-2002), and for the last nine years on HBO’s “Real Time,” Maher’s combination of unflinching honesty and big laughs have garnered him 24 Emmy nominations. In October of 2008, this same combination was on display in Maher’s uproarious and unprecedented swipe at organized religion, “Religulous,” directed by Larry Charles (“Borat”). The documentary has gone on to become the 7th Highest Grossing Documentary ever. He started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1979 and still performs over fifty dates a year in Las Vegas, and in sold-out theaters across the country. Two of his eight stand-up specials for HBO have been nominated for Emmy awards. Bill Maher attended Cornell University. He now resides in Los Angeles. He holds the record for most Emmy nominations without a win: 32 (as of 2013). He host of Real Time with Bill Maher (2003), live on Friday nights at 11:30pm on Home Box Office. [February 2003].

As a freshman at Connecticut, Ben Gordon ranked second on the team in scoring (12.6 ppg), despite coming off the bench for most of the season. He hit the game winning 3-point field goal against Villanova in the Big East Tournament. As a sophomore Gordon averaged a team-leading 19.5 points (which ranked 50th in the nation) and also led the Huskies with 156 total assists, which earned Gordon Second Team All-Big East honors. He also led the tournament field with 127 total points, as he helped lead the Huskies to the NCAA Championship.Following his junior year, Gordon declared himself eligible for the 2004 NBA Draft and was selected third overall by the Chicago Bulls. Before the 2004 NBA Draft, Ben Gordon thought that he would be drafted anywhere from 7th to 12th, but as the draft got closer he claimed to have an inkling that the Bulls might draft him third as they did with Michael Jordan 20 years earlier in the 1984 NBA Draft. “I’m a guy who looks at the significance of numbers a lot. Before the draft, I had no idea I’d get drafted third. I thought I was going to go anywhere from 7th to 12th. As we started getting closer and I started to get an inkling that the Bulls could be a team that I could end up playing for, I started to look at the numbers. Michael Jordan was drafted by the Bulls and he was the third pick just like you.” Ben Gordon wore the number 4 on his jersey in high school and college, but had to wear the number 7 with the Bulls due to the number 4 being retired. Ben Gordon said, “I wore No. 4 my whole career but, of course, Jerry Sloan already had that number beforehand so there wasn’t much I could do about it. So all I did was just [put together] being the third pick with my old No. 4. That’s why I wear No. 7.” Ben Gordon became the first rookie in NBA history to be awarded the NBA Sixth Man Award. Ben Gordon was also the NBA’s Eastern Conference Rookie of The Month 3 times (January, February, and March),and was also voted onto the NBA All-Rookie First Team. Ben Gordon signed a five-year deal for $55 million with the Detroit Pistons starting with the 2009–10 season. With the Pistons, Ben Gordon continued his role as a sixth-man off the bench. On January 9, 2010, Gordon scored the 10-thousand point in NBA history. On June 26, 2012, Ben Gordon and a future first round pick were traded to the Charlotte Bobcats in a deal that sent Corey Maggette to the Pistons. On November 28, 2012, Ben Gordon scored 20 points in the fourth quarter of an eventual 91-94 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The 20 points were the most in one quarter for any player in Bobcats history. He finished with 26 points on 7 of 11 shooting, making 7 of 10 from beyond the arc, to go with 5 free throw attempts and makes. On March 2, 2014, he was waived by the Bobcats. On July 11, 2014, Ben Gordon signed with the Orlando Magic to a reported two-year, $9 million contract. On April 1, 2008, Ben Gordon was named to the shortlist for the British national basketball team. Ben Gordon is eligible for the team by virtue of his British birth and dual citizenship. In 2010, he said he hoped to represent Great Britain in the 2012 Olympics. However, Gordon missed the beginning of Great Britain’s June 2012 pre-Olympic training camp in Houston, Texas. He later said he could not commit to the team after being traded from Detroit to Charlotte. Ben Gordon had represented the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games.

Jay-Z look alike

On the left is Ryan Leslie and on the right is rapper/business man Jay-Z.

Ryan Leslie was born Anthony Ryan Leslie on September 25th 1978 in Washington, DC and raised in 8 cities across 2 continents . He is an American record producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and rapper from Washington, D.C. Founder of the media company NextSelection Lifestyle Group, Ryan Leslie has produced singles for a number of artists in a variety of genres, ranging from R&B/hip hop to pop to gospel. From 2005–2006, he had his most commercial success to date with NextSelection/Bad Boy/Atlantic recording artist Cassie and her single “Me & U”. Leslie’s debut album, Ryan Leslie (2008), features the songs “Diamond Girl”, “Addiction”, and “How It Was Supposed To Be”. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2011. Ryan Leslie`s parents are Salvation Army officers who frequently relocate for work. Ryan Leslie‘s family is practicing Christians. He has lived in various states, cities, and countries. At an early age, Ryan Leslie taught himself how to play the piano. He developed the ability to recite music, as well as arrange chords to create songs. At the age of 14, Ryan Leslie scored a 1600 on his SATs, a perfect score, while attending Bear Creek High School, in Stockton, CA. In 1993, he applied to four University of California campuses as well as Stanford, Yale and Harvard. In his application essays he explained his interest in matriculating from his junior year in high school without having earned a diploma. He was accepted to all except for Stanford. He ultimately decided to attend Harvard College. At the age of 19, Ryan Leslie graduated from Harvard with a degree in Government, concentrating in Political Science and Macroeconomics. During the undergraduate Class Day ceremonies, Ryan Leslie was selected to be the Harvard Male Orator, one of four seniors who deliver orations to the graduating senior class. As a child he grew up playing cornet as a child in the Salvation Army band. He later switched to piano At Harvard, he joined the Krokodiloes, an a cappella group. Leslie suddenly saw a new future for himself when a friend played him a Stevie Wonder CD freshman year. “I became obsessed with him,” says Ryan Leslie. “I wanted to chase that man’s career.” Thus began the transition from premed Poindexter to R&B Romeo. Leslie became a constant presence at the on-campus recording studio. Fellow student Chiqui Matthew remembers Leslie making beats at every free moment. “He was on a different level of intensity. Most of us were pretty realistic—we’re Harvard students; this music stuff is fun, but this isn’t the future,” says Matthew, who now works with credit derivatives at Goldman Sachs. “But Ryan always had a ten-year plan about how he was going to take over the music industry.” While still a college student, Leslie began producing tracks for local Boston artists. Meanwhile, Leslie was beginning to mold his own image, too. “He had this pseudo-sexual, thugged-out Lothario thing,” says Matthew. “I never really bought it. He seemed more like a music nerd to me”. During his freshman year at Harvard, Ryan Leslie devoted many hours per week to creating and developing music in a studio basement on campus. He taught himself basic production skills and also developed a musical style of his own. As the semesters progressed, Ryan Leslie spent more and more time in the school’s studio molding his craft. He also performed many events around campus and was a part of the school’s all male a cappella group The Krokodiloes. Due to the conflict with music and school, Ryan Leslie was put on academic probation three times during his college career. He has said in many interviews that during those college years, he became accustomed to getting 2 to 3 hours of sleep per night. To earn disposable income during these years, Ryan Leslie sold instrumentals to local artists in the Boston area. After graduating college, Ryan Leslie urged his parents to allow him to go in to the music industry. They told him that he could have a better future considering he graduated from college at the age of 19. Ryan Leslie insisted that he was going to pursue his musical interests for two years and if he did not like it he would stop. Ryan Leslie remained in Boston because of its music scene. He took on community service jobs to help support himself and would spend nights in the recording studio working on his music.Eventually, he moved back home with his parents in Phoenix where he convinced them to take out a loan for a production studio so that he could pursue music full-time. He vowed to his family that he would pay back the $15,000 loan one day, even if it meant going back to school and getting a more traditional job. For the next several months, Ryan Leslie worked towards developing a distinct sound. During this period, Ryan Leslie said that he ate and slept very little. In the summer of 2003, Ryan landed a production internship with producer Younglord. He has said in interviews that he considers this 30-day internship the jump-start of his career in the music industry. Within the first week, Leslie produced the song “Keep Giving Your Love To Me” that would later be performed by Beyoncé for the Bad Boys II soundtrack. The soundtrack was supervised by Marc “Dombolo” Styles & Sean “Diddy” Combs, who were impressed by Leslie’s production style and offered him a management contract upon meeting him. Under the management of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Ryan Leslie worked on various Bad Boy Records projects, including releases from Loon, Cheri Dennis, B5, New Edition and Danity Kane. During that time, Ryan Leslie co-produced a record for Britney Spears. Also in 2003, Leslie was introduced by his then attorney Ed Woods to Tommy Mottola. Mottola soon became a mentor of Ryan Leslie‘s and offered him a publishing deal with Aspen Songs and a recording contract with Casablanca, Mottola’s imprint distributed by Universal Music Group. Under the mentorship of Mottola and Combs, Ryan Leslie signed then-aspiring model Cassie Ventura to his imprint, NextSelection in 2005. Cassie Ventura song “Me & U” in 2006 became a major hit on the Internet, and a video for the song was rushed into production, but withdrawn when it was deemed too risqué (sexually suggestive). “Me & U” peaked as the No. 3 download on iTunes, and those sales pushed it to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the meantime, Sean Combs heard “Me & U” in a club, and Ryan Leslie convinced him to partner his Bad Boy Records with Leslie’s own NextSelection imprint for the release of Cassie‘s debut album, Cassie, in August 2006. Firmly established and working with industry heavyweights, Cassie appeared on AskMen.com’s list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women in 2008, at No. 62. As Ryan Leslie and Cassie Ventura spent more time together in the studio, Cassie became closer with Ryan Leslie . “Cassie was my girl in New York City. We were going out romantically, and we made a song and put it out just for fun,” Leslie said regarding their relationship. Their relationship strengthened as Cassie‘s whirlwind of success in the music world expanded. “I love Cassie, I love her. I fell in love with her, I fell in love with her music, I fell in love with her family”. However, Cassie broke off their relationship and moved on to Sean “Diddy” Combs as they began to work more frequently. However, Cassie is still signed to NextSelection, though the two have not spoken in some time. “To be honest, we don’t really speak. We are still cordial. I saw her at Kanye’s Bowery performance and I said ‘Hello’ to her. You always have the curiosity about what would happen if we got back in the studio, but it’s a matter of scheduling and timing. If it ever happens, I am one hundred percent open to it”. Ryan Leslie awards include: 2013 / Black Ivy Alumni League – Pinnacle of Success Award, 2011 / Grammy “Best Contemporary R&B Album” Nominee, 2010 / Soul Train Music Award “Best New Artist” Nominee, 2010 / Harvard AMBLE Vanguard Award, 2009 / BET “Best Male R&B Artist” Nominee and 2009 / BET “Best New Artist” Nominee. Ryan Leslie can be contacted at c/o NextSelection, 45 Broadway, Suite 2230, New York, NY 1006, [email protected]. He is a successful Grammy-nominated producer (who’s worked with Chris Brown, Kanye West and Rick Ross) and he definitely was not just a heralded recording artist who landed two albums on the Top Ten of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Au contraire, the new and improved Ryan Leslie, version 2.0, is in full entrepreneurship mode and strategizing to become hip-hop’s next billionaire. In an exclusive one-on-one sit down with Music Times,  Ryan Leslie  opened up about his new label and artist-to-fan platform Disruptive Multimedia, his five-year plan for attaining all of life’s riches, and settling down without slowing down. “The purpose of the entire platform is so I can actually own the relationship that I have with the people that support me,” Leslie says of his latest venture, which launches on July 4. “You know, traditionally that relationship is owned by third parties: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, any number of platforms and now I can very confidentially say that every single person that supported my last record, they own the relationship they have with me.” In June, Kanye West applauded Ryan Leslie ‘s forthcoming business venture. “Beats sales were driven by culture and artists and Apple saw that,” West said during an interview in Cannes when asked about the successful $3 billion sale of Beats Electronic. “Of course they wanted to team up with the guys who were bridging culture and technology, it makes sense.” West added, “I think it is ridiculous giving any celebrity a creative director role of anything. There is only like three guys who I think could work like that, and that’s Ryan Leslie, me and Will.I.Am, because we care about it. We’re inside of it.” Ryan Leslie  with Disruptive Media, the “Diamond Girl” singer promises to select a few artists to invest in per year to help launch their careers and create a business off of their musical talents. “I’m also starting a record company,” he explained. “So people you see use my platform and are extremely successful on it, I’m going to be making an investment in an artist, or two, or three every year that I feel is worthy of an investment in their success. So I’ll be making an investment in their project—in their business, so to speak. We build a infrastructure that teaches people how to build a business around their art and it allows me to make it very clear, well-informed decision about who’s going to be successful based on their hustle, and I want to reward people’s hustle by making an investment in their project.” After releasing three albums, Ryan Leslie (2009), Transition (2009) and Les Is More (2012), under Universal Motown Republic Records, Ryan Leslie independently released Black Mozart in 2013. Focused on success, the dexterous musician trained himself to sleep three hours per day, only taking 30 minute naps in between without missing a beat; recording, producing, or traveling the world. As for lagging anytime soon for wife and kids, the “Diamond Girl” singer says that his lifestyle will still be infused into his family one day. With the success of producer/rapper Dr. Dre multibillion Beats headphones deal to Apple, Ryan Leslie is aiming for prosperity creating a “linchpin of success in the digital age” through Disruptive Multimedia. Ryan says that monetary success is not his true goal. Finding the true riches in life is.

In 2012 due to Gotti’s views of the low sales of his debut album he took his departure from RCA Records & Polo Grounds Music. On October 17, 2012, he released the 7th version of his well known mixtape series Cocaine Muzik entitled Cocaine Muzik 7: The World Is Yours. On October 27, 2013, Yo Gotti premiered the album’s third single, “Cold Blood” featuring rapper J. Cole and Canei Finch. Collective Music Group also known as CMG is a record label founded by Yo Gotti in 2013 is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Collective Music Group is apart if the Sony Music Entertainment and distributor for Epic Records. Currently the label has three signed artists which include Snootie Wild, Wave Chappele, Zed Zillaand and the CEO himself Yo Gotti. CMG used to stand for Cocaine Muzik Group, however Yo Gotti changed the title because he felt like Cocaine Muzik Group was more an underground street name. Collective Musik Group would according to him would be a better title for future artists to get signed to the label. The label’s first official release was Yo Gotti‘s sixth studio album I Am. The label released one collective project including every signed artist titled Chapter One in 2014. There was some controversy between Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane. A dispute between Gotti and frequent collaborator Gucci Mane began on October 17, 2012, when he was releasing his mixtape CM7: The World Is Yours on the same day as Gucci’s mixtape Trap God. According to Gucci Mane whose real name Radric Davis, Gucci Mane stated in an interview with Hot 107.9 was quoted syaing, “My main problem with him was that he dropped his mixtape on 10/17 (the name of Gucci Mane’s record label, 1017 Bricksquad), and tried to like ride my wave, like he was an artist of mine or we get some kind of money together.” Yo Gotti denied in another interview with K97 New York that he chose the date intentionally, but simply did not realize it. Yo Gotti appeared in Take Me to the River (II) which premiered on 11th March 2014 which is a Music Documentary. Yo Gotti is married to Lakeisha Mims they have 2 children together. One of Yo Gotti`s personal quotes is on playing the historic Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, 2013, was “I booked the theater myself because it was my birthday and I do something big in the city every time. Everybody was like, ‘They don’t do rap there. They don’t do rap there’. And they don’t do this and they don’t do that. I have the type of attitude where if I’m wanting to achieve something, I don’t believe in not trying. It took a lot of work but we got it done.”

Michael Bivins and Yo Gotti are famous people that look alike. They have the same stature, the same color brown skin, similar features and a strong work ethic.

Who does Isiah Thomas of Detriot Bad Boy Pistons look like

On the left is Jermaine Jackson and on the right is Isiah Thomas.

Jermaine Jackson was born Jermaine La Jaune Jackson on December 11th 1954 in Gary, Indiana. He is an American singer, bass guitarist, composer, member of The Jackson 5, occasional film director and older brother to the famous singer Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. He also produced and recorded duets with American singer Whitney Houston in her early years as a recording artist and was a producer for Bobby DeBarge’s band Switch. Jermaine Jackson is the fourth child of Joseph “Joe” and Katherine Jackson. His siblings are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Randy, and Janet Jackson. Him and his older brothers would often play instruments and sing in their spare time. One night, after his brother Tito accidentally broke a string on his father’s instrument, the trio (Jackie, Tito and Jermaine Jackson) had to own up to their late night practicing. Joe, out of anger, made the boys demonstrate their musicianship. Impressed, he recognized the boys’ potential and began encouraging them to perform as a group. Jermaine and his two older brothers began The Jackson Brothers in 1964. By the end of 1965, Jermaine’s younger brothers Marlon and Michael had also joined, creating The Jackson 5.He was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness by his devout mother, but he converted to Islam in 1989 after a trip to Bahrain. Jermaine was the original lead singer of the Jackson Brothers—an earlier incarnation of The Jackson Five—until 1966, when younger brother Michael began singing lead. Jermaine would continue to provide some leads over the years. Jermaine graduated from Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California in 1973. As part of the The Jackson 5, Jermaine and his brothers first signed with Gordon Keith of Steeltown Records (The Jackson Five) in 1967 and then Berry Gordy of Motown Records (The Jackson 5) in 1969. As the co-lead singer of The Jackson 5 after his brother Michael, Jermaine sang notable parts of “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There”, “The Love You Save”,”Dancing Machine”, and many other Jackson 5 songs. In 1975, after performing for six years with his brothers, Jermaine split from the Jackson 5 to continue his solo career at Motown Records, while the other Jackson brothers left to sign with Epic Records. In 1983, he reunited with his brothers for the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special. After the success of the broadcast, he rejoined the band to record the album Victory and participated in the Victory Tour. He stayed with the group for their final album, 2300 Jackson Street, in 1990. In 2001, he reunited with his brothers to perform for the 30th Anniversary Special. Jermaine Jackson began a solo career while still a member of The Jackson 5, and had a hit with the 1972 Shep and the Limelites cover “Daddy’s Home”. It sold over one million copies by March 1973, and was awarded a gold disc. When The Jackson 5 left Motown, Jermaine left the group and stayed at Motown, as he had married Hazel Gordy, and Motown head Berry Gordy was his father-in-law. In 2009, Jermaine claimed on the family reality series The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, it was because “Motown was gonna make us like the Beatles. We were the Jackson 5 and that’s all I wanted.” Jermaine Jackson was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his 1980 album Let’s Get Serious. He had a number of Billboard Top 30 hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including “Daddy’s Home” (#9), “That’s How Love Goes”, “Let’s Be Young Tonight”, “Bass Odyssey”, “Feel the Fire”, “Let Me Tickle Your Fancy” (featuring Devo on backing vocals) (#18), “Let’s Get Serious” (#9, also one of his only two UK hits, peaking at #8), “Dynamite” (#15), “Do What You Do” (#13), and “I Think It’s Love” (#16). A duet with his brother Michael, “Tell Me I’m Not Dreamin’ (Too Good to Be True)”, hit No. 1 on the dance chart in 1984. He and Michael also collaborated with Rockwell, both providing guest vocals on his 1984 hit single, “Somebody’s Watching Me”. In 1985, his duet with Pia Zadora, “When the Rain Begins to Fall”, topped several singles charts in Europe. His final chart success, 1989’s “Don’t Take It Personal”, hit (#1) on the Billboard R&B singles chart. Some of Jermaine’s finest moments as a singer can be heard in the soulful “Castle of Sand” and the Earth Wind & Fire-inspired “You Need To Be Loved”. Jermaine Jackson is proficient on the electric guitar and is a talented bass guitar player. At an early age he performed the parts of legendary bass player James Jamerson, etc., when J5 (Jackson Five) performed live. Jermaine Jackson also composed and produced for other artists, such as Switch, and he produced and sang a couple of duets on Whitney Houston’s debut album on Arista Records. In 1992, he produced The Jacksons: An American Dream, an award-winning and highly rated miniseries about the history of The Jackson 5. Jermaine Jr. portrayed his father as a young teenager in the miniseries. Jermaine Jackson appaeared on Reality television on the show of Celebrity Big Brother. Jermaine Jackson was the first housemate to enter the Celebrity Big Brother UK house in 2007. He steered clear of the controversy caused by the series, avoiding confrontation and offering moral support to fellow housemate Shilpa Shetty against alleged bullying from fellow housemates Jade Goody, Jo O’Meara, and Danielle Lloyd. He was often considered to be the most stable-minded in the house. During a task in the Big Brother house, the housemates had to create a tribute band for The Jackson 5. The performance of “I Want You Back” helped put The Jackson 5 back in the UK charts at #53.[citation needed] The final three consisted of Dirk Benedict, Jackson, and Shetty. After leaving Big Brother,[5] Jackson did several interviews on UK television, stating why and how he took his peaceful and mediating stance in the Big Brother house. He also spoke about the Jackson 5 reuniting for a performance. On December 15, 1973, Jermaine Jackson married Hazel Joy Gordy, who is the daughter of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy. The couple had three children together: Jermaine La Jaune “Jay” Jackson, Jr. (born January 27, 1977), Autumn Joi Jackson (born July 10, 1978), and Jaimy Jermaine Jackson (born March 17, 1987). Jermaine Jackson had a relationship beginning in 1986 with Margaret Maldonado during his marriage to Hazel. After his divorce from Gordy in 1988, Jackson began living with Maldonado, and he had two children with her: Jeremy Maldonado Jackson (born December 26, 1986) and Jourdynn Michael Jackson (born January 5, 1989). After separating from Maldonado, Jeramine Jackson began a relationship with Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza. (She had two children with his brother, Randy, daughter Genevieve and son Steven, Jr.) Oaziaza had two sons with Jermaine: Jaafar Jeremiah Jackson (born July 25, 1996), and Jermajesty Jackson (born October 3, 2000). Jackson and Oaziaza divorced in 2003. Jermaine Jackson met Halima Rashid, a wealthy Afghan native, while in line at Starbucks in January 2004. In March 2004, he proposed to her, and in August 2004 they got married in a mosque in Los Angeles, where they currently live. In all, Jermaine Jackson has seven children: three with his first wife Hazel, two with Margaret, and two with his second wife Alejandra. In 1989, after a trip to Bahrain, Jermaine Jackson converted to Islam. On November 6, 2012, Jackson filed a name change petition in Los Angeles, from Jermaine Jackson to Jermaine Jacksun, stating the switch was for “artistic reasons”. His last name officially became Jacksun on February 22, 2013.

Isiah Thomas was born Isiah Thomas III on April 30th 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He was nicknamed “Zeke”. He is a retired American basketball player who played professionally for the Detroit Pistons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 12-time NBA All-Star was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Thomas has also been a professional and collegiate head coach, a basketball executive, and a broadcaster. He was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. Isiah Thomas commuted from Chicago’s west side North Lawndale neighborhood to play high school basketball at St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois for Gene Pingatore. He would wake up at 5:00 am and commute 90 minutes to attend the private school. During his junior year, he led St. Joseph to the State Finals and was considered one of the top college prospects in the country. Isiah Thomas played collegiately for the Indiana Hoosiers. He went on to play professionally as point guard for the Pistons from 1981 until 1994 and led the “Bad Boys” to NBA championships in the 1988–89 and 1989–90 seasons. After his playing career, he was an executive with the Toronto Raptors, a television commentator, an executive with the Continental Basketball Association, head coach of the Indiana Pacers, and an executive and head coach for the New York Knicks. He was later the men’s basketball coach for the Florida International University (FIU) Golden Panthers for three seasons from 2009 to 2012. Isiah Thomas was recruited to play college basketball for Bob Knight and the Indiana Hoosiers. Although he received mail saying Knight tied up his players and beat them, he did not believe the rumors. When Knight visited the Thomas home, one of Isiah’s brothers, who wanted him to attend DePaul, embarrassed him by insulting the Indiana coach and engaging him in a shouting match. Nevertheless, Thomas chose Knight and Indiana because he felt that getting away to Bloomington would be good for him, as would be Knight’s discipline. Isiah Thomas quickly had to adjust to Bob Knight’s disciplinarian style. At the 1979 Pan American Games in Puerto Rico Knight got so mad at Thomas he threatened to put him on a plane home. Knight recalled yelling at the freshman-to-be, “You ought to go to DePaul, Isiah, because you sure as hell aren’t going to be an Indiana player playing like that.” Prior to the start of his freshman year, the 1979-80 season, Knight became so upset with Thomas that he kicked him out of a practice. According to Thomas, Knight was making a point that no player, no “matter how talented, is bigger than Knight’s philosophy.” However, Isiah Thomas quickly proved his skills as a player and became a favorite with both Knight and Indiana fans. His superior abilities eventually would cause Knight to adjust his coaching style. Fans would display bed sheets with quotations from the Book of Isaiah (“And a little child shall lead them”) and nicknamed him “Mr. Wonderful.” Because of Isiah Thomas‘ relatively short stature at 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m), Coach Knight would call Thomas “Pee Wee”. Isiah Thomas and Mike Woodson led the Hoosiers to the Big Ten championship and advanced to the 1980 Sweet Sixteen. The following year, the 1980-81 season, Bob Knight made Isiah Thomas the captain and told him to run the show on the floor. Isiah Thomas responded so positively that, as the season unfolded, Bob Knight and Isiah Thomas grew as friends. When a Purdue player took a cheap shot at Isiah Thomas in a game at Bloomington, Bob Knight called a press conference to defend his star. And 19 days later, when Isiah Thomas hit an Iowa player and was ejected from a game, Bob Knight refused to criticize his player Isiah Thomas. That year Isiah Thomas and the Hoosiers once again won a conference title and won the 1981 NCAA tournament, the school’s fourth national title. He earned the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award. Following his sophomore season and the Hoosiers’ national championship, Isiah Thomas made himself eligible for the NBA Draft. During his NBA career Isiah “Zeke” Thomas was one of the greatest “small men” ever to play professional basketball. His only peer at point guard in the NBA during the 1980s was the Lakers’ Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who at 6-9 brought unique physical skills to the position. Isiah Thomas retired as Detroit’s all-time leader in points, assists, steals and games. Isiah Thomas, who stood barely over 6-feet, was in his day the grittiest performer to play the position, a feisty competitor who offered no quarter and expected none in return. Like Johnson, he possessed the skill and determination to take over a game at will. Isiah Thomas helped build a last-place Detroit Pistons team into back-to-back NBA champions in the late 1980s. His sunny smile belied an inner toughness that made him a key member of a scrappy, physical group of players dubbed the “Bad Boys” of Detroit. “I call him the baby-faced assassin,” an opposing coach once told the Charlotte Observer, “because he smiles at you, then cuts you down.” Like many of his teammates, Isiah Thomas was tempestuous, edgy, vocal and not opposed to balling up his fist when he felt the need. And he knew how to handle pain; he often played with injuries resulting from his rough-and-tumble style. After retiring, Isiah Thomas became part owner and Executive Vice President for the expansion Toronto Raptors in 1994. In 1998, he left the organization after a dispute with new management over the franchise’s direction and his future responsibilities. During his four-year tenure with the team, the Raptors drafted Damon Stoudamire, Marcus Camby, and high schooler Tracy McGrady. After leaving the Raptors, Isiah Thomas became a television commentator (first as the lead game analyst with play-by-play man Bob Costas and then as part of the studio team) for the NBA on NBC. Thomas also worked a three-man booth with Costas and Doug Collins. Isiah Thomas became the owner of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1998 to 2000. Isiah Thomas purchased the CBA for $10 million, and in 2001 the league was forced into bankruptcy and folded, shortly after NBA Commissioner David Stern decided to create his own development league, the NBDL, to replace the CBA. Many CBA managers blamed Thomas for the league’s failure, citing mismanagement and out-of-control spending on his part. At the time of the league’s collapse the managing of the CBA was in a blind trust, due to Thomas’ position as head coach of the Indiana Pacers. From 2000 to 2003, Isiah Thomas coached the Indiana Pacers, succeeding Larry Bird, who previously coached the Pacers to the Eastern Conference title. Thomas attempted to bring up young talents such as Jermaine O’Neal, Jamaal Tinsley, Al Harrington, and Jeff Foster. However, under Thomas the Pacers were not able to stay at the elite level as they went through the transition from a veteran-dominated, playoff-experienced team to a younger, less experienced team. In Thomas’s first two seasons with the Pacers, the team was eliminated in the first round by the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets, both of whom eventually made the NBA Finals. In his last year with the Pacers, Isiah Thomas guided the Pacers to a 48–34 record in the regular season and coached the Eastern Conference team at the 2003 NBA All-Star Game. As the third seed, the Pacers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the sixth-seeded Boston Celtics. With blossoming talents such as Jermaine O’Neal, Brad Miller, Ron Artest, Al Harrington and Jamaal Tinsley, along with the veteran leadership of Reggie Miller, the perception existed that the Pacers’ unfulfilled potential stemmed from Thomas’ inexperience as a coach. In the offseason, Larry Bird returned to the Pacers as President of Basketball Operations, and his first act was to replace Thomas with Rick Carlisle. In 2000, Isiah Thomas was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. On December 22, 2003, the New York Knicks hired Isiah Thomas as President of Basketball Operations. He was ultimately unsuccessful with the Knicks roster and fanbase. At the end of the 2005–06 season, the Knicks had the highest payroll in the league and the second-worst record. He traded away several future draft picks to Chicago in a deal for Eddy Curry including what turned out to be two lottery picks in talent-rich drafts. A press conference for Isiah Thomas at the U.S. Century Bank Arena at Florida International University in Miami. On June 22, 2006, the Knicks fired coach Larry Brown, and owner James Dolan replaced him with Isiah Thomas under the condition that he show “evident progress” or be fired. During the following season the Knicks became embroiled in a brawl with the Denver Nuggets, which Isiah Thomas allegedly instigated by ordering his players to commit a hard foul in the paint.[12] However, he was not fined or suspended. NBA Commissioner David Stern said that he only relied on “definitive information” when handing out punishments. Later in the season, nine months after James Dolan demanded “evident progress”, the Knicks re-signed Thomas to an undisclosed “multi-year” contract. After he was granted the extension, the Knicks abruptly fell from playoff contention with a dismal finish to the season. During the 2007 Draft, Isiah Thomas made another trade by acquiring Zach Randolph, Fred Jones, and Dan Dickau from the Portland Trail Blazers for Steve Francis and Channing Frye. Isiah Thomas also compounded the Knicks’ salary cap problems by signing fringe players such as Jerome James and Jared Jeffries to full mid-level exception contracts. Neither player saw any significant playing time and both were often injured and highly ineffective when able to play. Despite the constant criticism that he received from Knicks fans, Isiah Thomas maintained that he had no intention of leaving until he turned the team around and he predicted that he would lead the Knicks to a championship, stating that his goal was to leave behind a “championship legacy” with the Knicks, just as he had done for the Detroit Pistons. This prediction was met with widespread skepticism. On April 2, 2008, Donnie Walsh was introduced to replace Isiah Thomas as President of Basketball Operations for the Knicks. Walsh would not comment definitively on whether or not Isiah Thomas would be retained in any capacity at the time of his hiring. One night after the Knicks tied a franchise record of 59 losses and ended their season, news broke that in talks with Walsh the week before, Isiah Thomas had been told he would not return as Knicks head coach the following season. He was officially “reassigned” on April 18 “after a season of listless and dreadful basketball, a tawdry lawsuit and unending chants from fans demanding his dismissal.” Isiah Thomas posted an overall winning percentage of .341 as head coach of the Knicks, fifth lowest in team history. As part of the reassignment agreement, he was to serve as a consultant to the team, reporting directly to Walsh. However, he was banned from having contact with any Knicks’ players under the rationale that he could willingly or unwillingly undermine the new head coach. On December 19, 2012, NBA TV announced that Isiah Thomas would begin work on December 21, 2012 as a member of the studio analyst panel. It was also announced that Thomas would become a regular contributor for NBA.com.
