Michael Bivins was born Michael Lamont Bivins on August 10th 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He was born to Shirley and Gerard Bivins and also had a sister whose name was Tanya. He has been credited as a writer on several TV and movie soundtracks, including “Beverly Hills, 90210″, “Full House”, “40 Days and 40 Nights”, “Tropic Thunder”, and “Community”. He also discovers, manages, and produces for other acts, most notably Another Bad Creation, MC Brains, Boyz II Men, and 702, all of whom were signed to his Motown distributed label Biv 10 Records. He serves as the music entrepreneur and A&R man of both of his own acts. Michael Bivins had a minor role in the film Friday After Next, and guest-starred as a DJ on the pseudo-radio station CSR 103.9 in the hit video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Most recently, he made an appearance in the basketball film Crossover as a character known as Heart Attack. He is also in charge of Artist Development for Making the Band 4. Yo Gotti was born Mario Mims on  May 19th 1981 in the northern side of Memphis, Tennessee, USA. He is an American rapper, Hip Hop artist and entrepreneur. Yo Gotti is 5′ 7″ feet tall in height. In 2000, Yo Gotti released his debut album From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game. He went on to release Self-Explanatory (2001), Life (2003), Back 2 da Basics (2006), Live from the Kitchen (2012) and I Am (2013). Yo Gotti grew up in the Ridgecrest apartments of Frayser, Memphis. He began his music career around the age of 14, rapping as Lil Yo, affiliated with DJ Sound and his crew. Between 2000 and 2006, Yo Gotti released a string of independent albums. From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game (2000), Self-Explanatory (2001), Life (2003) and Back 2 da Basics (2006). After several delays Yo Gotti released his major label debut studio album “Live From The Kitchen” on January 10, 2012. The album’s original first single was titled “5 Star” and it was released on May 20, 2009. The song debuted at #5 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and at #39 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. As of September 21, it has peaked at #100 on the Hot 100, making it Yo Gotti and YG’s third Hot 100 entry, #33 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at #24 on the Rap Songs chart. In July 2013, it was announced that the album would be released on November 19, 2013. On August 22, 2013, he announced the I Am Tour Dates, a tour in promotion of I Am which ran from September 14, 2013, until November 19, 2013, with supporting acts including YG, Zed Zilla, Shy Glizzy and Cash Out. On September 2, 2013, Yo Gotti released the mixtape Nov 19th: The Mixtape in promotion for the album. Collective Music Group also known as CMG is a record label founded by Yo Gotti in 2013 is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Collective Music Group is apart if the Sony Music Entertainment and distributor for Epic Records. Currently the label has three signed artists which include Snootie Wild, Wave Chappele, Zed Zillaand and the CEO himself Yo Gotti. CMG used to stand for Cocaine Muzik Group, however Yo Gotti changed the title because he felt like Cocaine Muzik Group was more an underground street name. Collective Musik Group would according to him would be a better title for future artists to get signed to the label. The label’s first official release was Yo Gotti‘s sixth studio album I Am. The label released one collective project including every signed artist titled Chapter One in 2014. There was some controversy between Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane. A dispute between Gotti and frequent collaborator Gucci Mane began on October 17, 2012, when he was releasing his mixtape CM7: The World Is Yours on the same day as Gucci’s mixtape Trap God. According to Gucci Mane whose real name Radric Davis, Gucci Mane stated in an interview with Hot 107.9 was quoted syaing, “My main problem with him was that he dropped his mixtape on 10/17 (the name of Gucci Mane’s record label, 1017 Bricksquad), and tried to like ride my wave, like he was an artist of mine or we get some kind of money together.” Yo Gotti denied in another interview with K97 New York that he chose the date intentionally, but simply did not realize it. Yo Gotti appeared in Take Me to the River (II) which premiered on 11th March 2014 which is a Music Documentary. Yo Gotti is married to Lakeisha Mims they have 2 children together. One of Yo Gotti`s personal quotes is on playing the historic Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, 2013, was “I booked the theater myself because it was my birthday and I do something big in the city every time. Everybody was like, ‘They don’t do rap there. They don’t do rap there’. And they don’t do this and they don’t do that. I have the type of attitude where if I’m wanting to achieve something, I don’t believe in not trying. It took a lot of work but we got it done.”
