Steve Irwin was born Stephen Robert Irwin 22 February 1962 in Essendon, Victoria, Australia. He diesd 4 September 2006 from a stingray attack after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming an underwater documentary film titled Ocean’s Deadliest. Steve Irwin nicknamed “The Crocodile Hunter”, was an Australian wildlife expert, television personality, and conservationist. Steve Irwin achieved worldwide fame from the television series The Crocodile Hunter, an internationally broadcast wildlife documentary series which he co-hosted with his wife Terri. One of his other nicknames was Steveo given to him be friends, family and co workers. Steve Irwin was the director of the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia, and host of Animal Planet’s series The Crocodile Hunter (1996). Steve Irwin grew up loving all wildlife, especially reptiles. He caught his first venomous snake (a Common Brown) at the tender age of six and would often arrive late to school after convincing his mother to pull over so he could rescue a lizard off the road. By the time he was nine-years-old, he was helping his dad catch small problem crocodiles hanging around boat ramps by jumping on them in the water and wrestling them back into the dinghy. He always had an uncanny sixth sense when it came to wildlife and he spent his life honing that skill. In the 1980s Steve Irwin spent months on end living in the most remote areas of far North Queensland catching problem crocodiles before they ended up shot by a poacher’s bullet. He worked with his little dog, Sui, and developed crocodile capture and management techniques that are now utilised with crocodilians around the world. By 1980, the family wildlife park was called the ‘Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park’ and where Steve called home. Steve and his best mate, Wes Mannion, worked countless hours caring for the wildlife and maintaining the grounds. In 1991 Steve Irwin took over managing‘Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park’ where he met Terri Rains, a visiting tourist, on 6 October. Steve and Terri were married. Instead of a honeymoon, the couple embarked on filming a wildlife documentary with John Stainton from the ‘Best Picture Show’ company. The show was so successful it turned into a series and the Crocodile Hunter was born. After Steve’s parents retired in the 1992 Steve Irwin worked tirelessly to improve and expand his wildlife park. Re-naming it Australia Zoo in 1998. Steve Irwin death came as a shock in 2006 many had grown to love and enjoy his episodes and the discovery channel. Steve Irwin two children at the time of his death with his wife Terri they were his daughter Bindi then he got a son which he named Bob.

That film established a new type of hero in the French cinema and the actor’s popularity grew enormously. Later, he diversified his screen image and became the leading French actor of the 80s and 90s. He was twice awarded a César as Best Actor for The Last Metro (1980) and Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), also received an Oscar nomination for “Cyrano” and a number of awards at international film festivals. In 1996, he was distinguished by the highest French title of “Chevalier du Légion d’Honneur”. He married Elisabeth Depardieu in 1971, and they divorced in 1996; she appeared with him in Jean de Florette (1986) and Manon of the Spring (1986); their children Guillaume Depardieu and Julie Depardieu are both actors. He is one of the most prolific character actors in film history, having completed approximately 170 movies since 1967. He has twice won the César Award for Best Actor as well as the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in Green Card. He was granted citizenship of Russia in January 2013 and the same month became a cultural ambassador of Montenegro. His breakout film role came in 1974 playing Jean-Claude in Bertrand Blier’s comedy Les Valseuses (Going Places). Other prominent early roles include a starring role alongside Robert De Niro in Bernardo Bertolucci’s historical epic 1900 (1976) and a role in François Truffaut’s The Last Metro (1980), for which he was nominated for the César Award. In 1986, his international fame grew as a result of his performance as a doomed, hunchbacked farmer in the film Jean de Florette. In 1990, Gérard Depardieu crossed over into the American film market by co-starring in Peter Weir’s romantic comedy Green Card, for which he won a Golden Globe Award. In 2009, he took part in a rare performance of Sardou’s La Haine at the Festival de Radio France et Montpellier Languedoc Roussillon, with Fanny Ardant; subsequently broadcast on France Musique. In 2013, he starred in an independent film entitled A Farewell to Fools.
