He is best recognize as Johnny Lawrence in the 1984 movie The Karate Kid. William Zabka plays the nemesis of Daniel LaRusso played by Ralph Macchio. William Zabka is the son of Nancy (Heimert) Zabka, business liaison, producer, and production assistant, and Stanley William Zabka, a director, writer and composer.
