Angela Yee was born to a Chinese father and an Afro-Montserratian mother and raised in Flatbush. Angela Yee hosts the nationally syndicated morning show The Breakfast Club along with DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. Angela Yee is on the Board of Governors of the We Are Family Foundation and a board member of the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies. She is also the first-ever ambassador for the New York Public Library system. Since 2019, Angela Yee has served as the BSE Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Ambassador. Angela Yee attended the Wesleyan University, majoring in English and graduating in 1997.
