Merle Dandridge born May 31, 1975 in in Okinawa, Japan. Her mother was a local Okinawan of Korean descent and her father was an African American U.S. serviceman from Memphis. Merle Dandridge is a Japanese-born American actress and singer who performed in a number of stage productions, including Broadway musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Spamalot, and Rent. Merle Dandridge is widely known for her role as Alyx Vance in the Half-Life series and Marlene in The Last of Us. She is also known for her recurring role on television series such as Sons of Anarchy and The Night Shift. In 2016, she began starring as Grace Greenleaf in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series, Greenleaf. She played Papa Ge in the 2017 revival of Once on this Island, until January 8, 2018. She starred on Broadway as The Lady of the Lake in the Mike Nichols-directed Spamalot, as Aida in Aida, Kala in Tarzan, Joanne in Rent and in Jesus Christ Superstar. She has toured the U.S. and Europe 5 times. And regionally, she has appeared at Williamstown Theatre Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, Geffen Playhouse, and Pasadena Playhouse.

She became widely known as a contestant on the first season of NBC’s reality television series The Apprentice. Omarosa Manigault is often seen a a stern domineering public woman. Omarosa Manigault became assistant to the president and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison during the Trump administration in January 2017. However, on December 13, 2017, White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly, fired Omarosa Manigault, citing “money and integrity issues”, as well as “inappropriate use of company vehicles”. Afterwards, she competed on the first season of Celebrity Big Brother, making it to the final five of the season. In August 2018, Omarosa Manigault published Unhinged, detailing her tenure at the White House and criticizing Trump and his administration. Two days before the book was released, she released the first of as many as 200 secret tapes she recorded during her White House tenure. As of 14 August 2020, she has released four tapes. The first tape she released, which was secretly recorded inside the Situation Room, was described as “one of the worst White House security breaches ever,” though the tape is thought not to violate the Espionage Act.
