George Kenneth Griffey Jr. better known as Ken Griffey or Ken Griffey Junior was born November 21 st 1969 in Donora, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Ken Griffey Junior is the son of former MLB player Ken Griffey Sr. and the father of National Football League player Trey Griffey. He was nicknamed “Junior” and “the Kid”. Ken Griffey Junior is a former professional baseball outfielder who played 22 years in Major League Baseball (MLB). Ken Griffey batted left and threw left as a lefty. He spent most of his career with the Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds. He also spent a short time with the Chicago White Sox. He was formerly the Deputy Premier of the Nevis Island Administration and held the portfolio of Minister of Tourism, Health, Culture, Youth, Sports, and Community Development in that government. From 2007-2015 he served as the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly. He hosts a weekly two hour political talk-show on VON Radio 860AM. On 29th October 2017, Nevis Premier and Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) Vance Amory stepped down, with Mark Brantley winning the leadership roles at the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) party convention. On 18 December 2017 his party won the election, allowing him to become the Premier of Nevis. Mark Brantley led his party to victory in the 2017 Nevis Island Assembly election, with the CCM winning 4 of the 5 seats. He currently serves as the Premier of Nevis with a number of ministry roles on the Nevis Island Administration.
