Oliver Samuels better known as Oliver was born Oliver Adolphus Samuels. He is a Jamaican comedian and actor. Often described as the “Jamaican King of Comedy“, performing both stand-up and comical theatre. Oliver Samuels began to get famous throughout Jamaica and the Caribbean when the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation’s television series Oliver At Large went on television. In this series, Oliver Samuels played his alter ego Olivius Adams, aka Oliver. The series featured sketches from Oliver’s exploits, often with his sidekick, Maffi. Several spin-off theatre pieces have been created for the Oliver character including Large Abroad, Oliver’s Posse (1999), Oliver and Pinocchio (2001), and Oliver and the Genie (2002). Abroad, Oliver Samuels is known as Jamaica’s Bill Cosby, and is a brand name that is synonymous with Jamaica and laughter. Samuels is widely regarded as one of the funniest talents to emerge from the Caribbean. He also did a TV Mini-Series called Comedy from the Caribbean in 1992 as himself Oliver.

Joseph Marcell was born on August 18, 1948 in St. Lucia, Caribbean. He is an actor, known for the portrayal of the butler Geoffrey on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)), A Beautiful Life (2004) and Empire Road (1978). He serves on the board of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, England. Joseph Marcell is a British citizen. He spent most of his life in London, England. In London, England he starred as Leonato in a production of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in September 2011.  played the lead role of King Lear in a production at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and touring on an Elizabethan-style stage in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

Oliver Samuels and Joseph Marcell are famous look alike. Both these men have Caribbean roots. They also have facial hair and dark skin.
