Ebro Darden (born March 17, 1975) is an American media executive and radio presenter who, until 2014, was Vice President of Programming for Emmis Communications’ New York contemporary urban station WQHT Hot 97, and is a co-host on the HOT 97 Morning Show alongside Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds, and Laura Stylez. WQHT (97.1 FM) also known as Hot 97 is an American radio station in New York City under the corporate ownership of Emmis Communications. Ebro Darden began his career in radio in 1990 at KSFM in Sacramento, California, where he worked in research and a sales runner until moving into programing as an intern, and later co-host for KSFM’s night and morning shows. In 1997, he worked at KBMB in Sacramento as Programming and Music Director, as well as afternoon host. Eventually, Ebro Darden became Operations Manager at KBMB, while also co-hosting mornings at KXJM in Portland, Oregon, in 1999. In 2003, Ebro Darden moved to become Music Director for WQHT, ultimately becoming the Program Director for the station in 2007. Ebro Darden is the executive producer of WQHT’s annual Summer Jam, it was Darden’s responsibility to book hip hop artists for over 55,000 fans at MetLife Stadium, and people viewing the concert’s live stream around the world. Summer Jam was founded in 1993. Mack 10 was born on August 9, 1971 in Inglewood, California, USA as Dedrick D. Rolison or Dedrick D’Mon Rolison. name Mack 10, is an American rapper and actor. He has sold nearly 11 million records independently combining his solo and group works. Mack 10 made his first appearance on Ice Cube’s 1994 “Bootlegs & B-Sides” compilation on the remixed track “What Can I Do?” and was a member of hip hop supergroup Westside Connection along with Ice Cube and WC. Mack 10 is also the founder of independent record label Hoo-Bangin’ Records. He takes his nickname from the Ingram MAC-10 submachine gun. Mack 10 made his first appearance on Ice Cube’s “Bootlegs & B-Sides” compilation on the track “What Can I Do? (Remix)”.
