George Stephanopoulos was born George Robert Stephanopoulos on February 10, 1961. He is an American journalist, a former U.S. Democratic Party political advisor, and chief anchor of ABC News. George Stephanopoulos became famous as a communications director for the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton, he subsequently became White House Communications Director, then Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy before departing in December 1996. Today George Stephanopoulos is chief anchor and chief political correspondent for ABC News, co-anchor of ABC News’ Good Morning America, and host of ABC’s Sunday morning This Week. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. George Stephanopoulos is also a common fill-in anchor for ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
Doctor Oz was born Mehmet Cengiz Öz on June 11, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He is a Turkish-American. Dr. Oz is a cardiothoracic surgeon, author and television personality. He is supportive of alternative medicine and has been criticized by physicians, government officials and publications, including Popular Science and The New Yorker, for giving non-scientific advice. Oz first appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004, and later on Larry King Live and other TV programs. In 2009, The Dr. Oz Show, a daily television program focusing on medical issues and personal health, was launched by Winfrey’s Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures. Dr. Oz is host of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning The Dr. Oz Show, and won a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Informative Talk Show host two years in a row in 2010 and 2011. Dr. Oz is also a Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. Doctor OZ is Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. His research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health-care policy. He has authored over 400 original publications, book chapters, and medical books and has received several patents. He performs over 100 heart operations annually. Dr. Oz is an Alma mater Harvard University (A.B.) and University of Pennsylvania (M.D., M.B.A.). His spouse is Lisa Lemole whom he is married from since 1985.
