Ahmad Givens was born January 8th 1980 in South Central/Beverly Hills, California. He also known as Real, is best known for his role on VH1’s I Love New York, and is one of 20 contenders for the affections of Tiffany Pollard. On I Love New York, Real appears with his younger brother Chance, with whom he was raised on a horse ranch. Real is also a former Capitol Records artist. Real and Chance were discovered by VH1 producers through their Myspace pages. He appeared as one of 20 contestants in I Love New York. This Bachelor-style dating show features Tiffany Pollard, better known as New York, in her quest to find true love. He ended up being eliminated and was one of the final four contestants. Real and Chance, plus another brother, Micah, are in a rap group known as the Stallionaires, in reference to where they were raised. Real was also one of the 17 contestants in the VH1 reality show I Love Money, which features returning contestants from past VH1 reality shows such as Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. The 17 competed in physical and mental challenges en route to a grand prize of $250,000. Real was eliminated on the show. Real and Chance were announced by VH1 to be the center of a new, similar reality show, Real Chance of Love in which women would compete for their love and attention. The show Real Chance of Love which premiered on October 20, 2008, the new reality series involved 17 women vying for the affection of the brothers over the span of 11 episodes. Real and Chance returned for the second season, Real Chance of Love 2, where they tried to find love, once again, with 20 new women vying for their affection. The second season ended with Chance choosing a contestant named “Hot Wings” over runner-up “Mamacita” while Real choose Corn Fed in the second season and had to choose between Pocahontas or Sassy in the first season. On Friday 20th 2015 Ahmad Givens better known as Real died of stage 4 colon cancer he was 35 years old although some media websites claimed he was 33. He was diagnosed with the illness in 2013. Real leaves behind his wife Raquel Givens whom he was married to with whom he has a son. Real was known for sharing a tight bond with his brother Chance on the realty shows.
