Peter Capaldi was born Peter Dougan Capaldi on 14 April 1958 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He is a Scottish actor and film director. He has played numerous roles in film and television, and is best known for playing the twelfth and current incarnation of the Doctor in the long-running BBC One science-fiction series Doctor Who, and for the role of Malcolm Tucker, a spin doctor in the BBC comedy series The Thick of It and its film spinoff In the Loop. In 1994, he won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for his short film Franz Kafka’s It’s a Wonderful Life. His mother’s family was from Killeshandra, County Cavan, Ireland, and his father’s family was from Picinisco, Italy. Peter Capaldi was educated at St Teresa’s Primary School in Possilpark,St Matthew’s Primary School in Bishopbriggs, and St Ninian’s High School, Kirkintilloch, before attending the Glasgow School of Art. While studying there he secured his breakthrough role in Local Hero (1983). He is 6’1” and is recognized for his Intense angry stare. Peter Calpaldi appeared on The All New Alexei Sayle Show (1994), where he played an intoxicated time traveler Doug Hatton in the re-occurring sketch ‘Drunk in Time’. Peter Calpaldi played a character called “W.H.O. Doctor” in World War Z (2013) after being cast in the lead role for Doctor Who (2005).

Tim Westwood was born 1957 in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, UK. He appeared in It’s a Lot (2013) as himself. The son of Bill Westwood, former Anglican Bishop of Peterborough, Tim Westwood grew up around East Anglia, attending the independent Norwich School, before later attending a local comprehensive. He is an English DJ and presenter of radio and television. He also presents the UK version of the MTV show Pimp My Ride. He is often referred to by other DJs and artists appearing on his shows simply as Westwood. It was announced on 26 July 2013 that, as part of planned schedule changes, he was leaving BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra after nearly 20 years. During his career Tim Westwood has DJed for many radio stations, including the newly formed radio stations Kiss FM (which he co-owned) and LWR in the 1980s, followed by mainstream station Capital FM (from 1987). In the late 1980s, his name was often mentioned in British rap records, as he was the only well-known DJ playing hip hop on legal radio in Britain. He was named Best UK Radio DJ in the MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards in 2000, 2003 and 2005. Tim Westwood is a patron of the internal radio station at Feltham Young Offenders’ Institution in west London.
