Philip Seymour Hoffman was born on July 23rd 1967 and died February 2nd 2014. He was an American actor and director. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the 2005 biographical film Capote, was nominated three times for Best Supporting Actor and also received three Tony Award nominations for his work in theater. Philip Seymour Hoffman began his acting career in 1991, and the following year he began to appear in films. He gained recognition for his supporting work in a series of notable films, including Scent of a Woman (1992), Twister (1996), Boogie Nights (1997), The Big Lebowski (1998), Patch Adams (1998), Magnolia (1999), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Almost Famous (2000), Red Dragon (2002), 25th Hour (2002), Punch-Drunk Love (2002) and Cold Mountain (2003). His three other Academy Award nominations came for his supporting work in Charlie Wilson’s War (2007), Doubt (2008) and The Master (2012). Other critically acclaimed films in his later years included Owning Mahowny (2003), Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead (2007), The Savages (2007), Synecdoche, New York (2008), Moneyball (2011) and The Ides of March (2011). In 2010, Hoffman made his feature film directorial debut with Jack Goes Boating. Philip Seymour Hoffman was an accomplished theater actor and director. He joined the LAByrinth Theater Company in 1995, and directed and performed in numerous stage productions. His performances in three Broadway plays led to three Tony Award nominations: two for Best Leading Actor, in True West (2000) and Death of a Salesman (2012), and one for Best Featured Actor in Long Day’s Journey into Night (2003). He was a funny memorable actor in the movie Along Came Polly (2004) as Sandy Lyle with Ben Stiller as Reuben Feffer and Jennifer Aniston as Polly Prince. Philip Seymour Hoffman died February 2nd 2014 from want was suspected as a drug overdose.

Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on 25th  March 1947 in Pinner, London, United Kingdom. He is an English singer-songwriter, composer, pianist, record producer, and occasional actor. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin as his songwriter partner since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums to date. He received a British title naming him Sir Elton Hercules John for Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. In his five-decade career Elton John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits, including seven consecutive No. 1 US albums, fifty-eight Billboard Top 40 singles, twenty-seven Top 10, four No. 2 and nine No. 1. For 31 consecutive years (1970–2000) he has had at least one song in the Billboard Hot 100. He has the most No. 1 hits on US Adult Contemporary Chart (16 No. 1’s). His single “Candle in the Wind 1997” sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is “the best-selling single of all time”. He has received six Grammy Awards, five Brit Awards – winning two awards for Outstanding Contribution to Music and the first Brits Icon in 2013, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, a Disney Legend award, and the Kennedy Center Honors in 2004. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him Number 49 on its list of 100 influential musicians of the rock and roll era. In 2008, Billboard ranked him the most successful male solo artist on “The Billboard Hot 100 Top All-Time Artists” (third overall). The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), an organization that perceived Eminem’s lyrics to be homophobic. So show the world he was not homophobic Eminem performed with Elton John at the 43rd Grammy Awards ceremony in 2001. Entertainment Weekly put it on its end-of-the-decade, “best-of” list, saying, “It was the hug heard ’round the world. Eminem, under fire for homophobic lyrics, shared the stage with a gay icon for a performance of “Stan” that would have been memorable in any context.

Swiss entrepreneur and investor Patrick Liotard-Vogt purchased the controlling stake, and became the company’s Chairman of ASMALLWORLD. Patrick Liotard-Vogt known for his red hair (flame-haired) is the owner of ASMALLWORLD a social media network that is called the ‘MySpace for millionaires’. Seth Green was born in Philadelphia and has worked as an actor and screen writer in movies and television since he was seven. Seth Green and Matthew Senreich created/executive produced/wrote and directed the Emmy-winning, Robot Chicken (2005). Seth Green provides the voice of “Chris Griffin” on Family Guy (1999) and is consulting on Lucasfilm’s upcoming animated comedic “Star Wars” series. Seth Green appeared in the film It (as Richie Tozier, age 12), Ticks in 1993, he appeared in all three Austin Powers movies as Dr. Evil’s son, Scott, and Enemy of the State and The Italian Job as a computer specialist. He was also in the films Can’t Hardly Wait, Rat Race, Without a Paddle, Idle Hands and Party Monster and Old Dogs. Seth Green also had a role in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 1994, he starred alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in the short-lived series The Byrds of Paradise. He worked with Hewitt again in 1998’s Can’t Hardly Wait. Seth Green has starred on Fox’s Greg the Bunny and guest-starred on The X-Files, That ’70s Show, Will & Grace, MADtv, Reno 911!, Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy, The Wonder Years, Heroes and My Name Is Earl.

He was famous before rap music as he played the role of Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. He became more famous when he started getting noticed for his rapping talent which lead to him being signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment. “Best I Ever Had” and the hit “Successful” gained alot of air play. His first studio album, Thank Me Later (2010), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and generated notable singles, “Over” and “Find Your Love”. It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second album, Take Care (2011), is his most successful to date, topping charts in the United States and Canada and producing multiple hit singles, including “Headlines”, “Take Care”, “Make Me Proud”, and “The Motto”, the last of which is also credited for popularizing the widely used acronym YOLO. As a young boy Bruno Mars spent time  impersonating Elvis Presley who had a major impact on his musical career. He also looked up to and watched singer Prince. Bruno Mars song “The Lazy Song” has over 459,654,545 on YouTube. In 2014 Bruno Mars released a song called When I Was Your Man.

Actor Erik Estrada was born Henry Enrique Estrada on March 16 th1949 in Manhattan, New York City. He is of Puerto Rican descent.  Erik Estrada is known for his major acting role as a reserve police officer in the 1977–1983 television series CHiPs. He later became known for his work in Spanish language telenovelas, and in more recent years, his appearances in reality television shows and infomercials and as a regular voice on the Adult Swim series Sealab 2021. In the 1970 film version of The Cross and the Switchblade,  Erik Estrada made his film debut in the role of Nicky Cruz alongside Pat Boone who played the role of David Wilkerson. In 1974, Estrada took part in the disaster film, Airport 1975. Erik Estrada was also a starring figure in the movies Guns (1990), Sealab 2021 (2000) and Van Wilder: Party Liaison (2002).

Marc Lamont Hill or Dr. Marc Lamont Hill better known as simply Lamont Hill who was born December 17th1978 is an American academic, journalist, author, activist, and television personality. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. Hill is also an affiliated faculty member in African American Studies at the Institute for Research in African American Studies at Columbia University. He hosts the nationally syndicated television show Our World with Black Enterprise and online HuffPost Live. Lamont Hill is also a BET News correspondent and a CNN political commentator. Lamont Hill is one of the leading hip-hop generation intellectuals in the country. His work, which covers topics such as culture, politics, and education, has appeared in numerous journals, magazines, books, and anthologies.  Lamont Hill has lectured widely and provides regular commentary for media outlets like NPR, Washington Post, Essence Magazine, and the New York Times. Lamont Hill is an award-winning writer, columnist and editor-at-large for the Philadelphia Daily News. In 2009, Lamont Hill joined the faculty of Columbia University as Associate Professor of Education at Teachers College. He currently holds an affiliated faculty appointment in African American Studies at the Institute for Research in African American Studies at Columbia University. Since his days as a youth in Philadelphia, Lamont Hill has been a social justice activist and organizer. He is a founding board member of My5th, a non-profit organization devoted to educating youth about their legal rights and responsibilities. He is also a board member and organizer of the Philadelphia Student Union. Lamont Hill also works closely with the ACLU Drug Reform Project, focusing on drug informant policy. In addition to his political work, Lamont Hill continues to work directly with African American and Latino youth. In 2001, he started a literacy project that uses hip-hop culture to increase school engagement and reading skills among high school students. He also continues to organize and teach adult literacy courses for high school dropouts in Philadelphia and Camden. In 2005, Ebony Magazine named him one of America’ top 30 Black leaders under 30 years old. In 2011, Ebony named him one of America’s 100 most influential Black leaders. Lamont Hill or Dr. Hill is the author of two books: Beats, Rhymes, and Classroom Life: Hip-Hop Pedagogy and the Politics of Identity and The Classroom and the Cell: Conversations on Black life in America. He is also co-editor of three books: Media, Learning, and Sites of Possibility; Schooling Hip-Hop: New Directions in Hip-Hop Based Education; and The Anthropology of Education Reader. He is currently completing two manuscripts: Knowledge of Self: Race, Masculinity, and the Politics of Reading; and First Class Jails/Second Class Schools: Education in the Age of Incarceration.

B.o.B is a rapper from Decatur, Georgia. He was born Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr. on November 15th 1988. In 2006, B.o.B was discovered by Brian Richardson, who then brought him to TJ Chapman, who then brought him to American record producer Jim Jonsin. After hearing his music, Jonsin subsequently signed B.o.B to his Rebel Rock Entertainment imprint. A couple of years later, Jonsin and B.o.B signed a joint venture deal with Atlantic and American rapper T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records. B.o.B quickly rose to fame after his commercial debut single “Nothin’ on You”, reached number one in both the United States and the United Kingdom. He would later release his third single “Airplanes”, which also topped several music charts. His fifth single “Magic”, became his third top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. B.o.B‘s debut studio album The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which was preceded by two extended plays (EPs) and several mixtapes, was released on April 27, 2010. The album reached number one on the US Billboard charts and was eventually certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Later that year, B.o.B was named the ninth “Hottest MC in the Game of 2010” by MTV, on their annual list. B.o.B released his second studio album Strange Clouds, on May 1, 2012.
